In case of a vacancy in the position of Attorney General by reason of removal, death, resignation or disability lasting for more than six (6) months, the Attorney General position shall be filled by appointment by the Principal Chief with confirmation by the Tribal Council in accordance with Article VII, Section 13 of the Constitution of the Cherokee Nation.
