Cite as: 21 CNCA § 1119

Every person who takes away or induces to leave any person under the age of sixteen (16) years, from a parent, guardian or other person having the legal charge of the person, without the consent of said parent, guardian, or other person having legal charge, for the purpose of marriage or concubinage, or any crime involving moral turpitude shall be guilty of a felony punishable by a term of imprisonment not to exceed three (3) years or by imposition of a fine in an amount not the exceed Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000), or by both such fine an imprisonment.
